What a great time we had at the Stoke Gifford Dog Show on Bank Holiday Monday!!!! We met lots of lovely people, and their dogs. Such a nice day out with many different breeds being shown in the ring. Megan was lucky enough to be asked to judge the Best Veteran Class - such a difficult task! Their were dogs in the class ranging from Ben and 18 year old terrier, to a lively 8 year old greyhound. First Place went to a gorgeous Belgian Shepard, who won Megan over with the puppy dog eyes!
Platinum Petcare Poodle Millie was taken into a few classes by Bronwyn. Bronwyn and her family do so much for Bristol DAWG, taking on dogs to foster whilst they await their new home. Millie & Bronwyn came 3rd place in Prettiest Bitch - so well done to them! Kim & Megan also met a lovely lady called Andrea, who had a rescued setter, Alby, who was completely deaf. Andrea was telling us how she didn't have any photos of Alby to send to his rescuers, as he was tricky to photograph due to his deafness. Always up for a challenge, Megan went and got her camera and started snapping away! When the photo's were emailed over to Andrea the following day she was incredibly pleased and very thankful :)
Another brilliant day out supporting Bristol DAWG - a fantastic charity close to our hearts!
